A late nineteenth-century house a short walk from the sea. Four rooms, a pool between ancient stone walls, breakfast under the pergola and Etna on the horizon. A pink façade, blue shutters, white vaulted rooms: everything here asks you to slow down.
The rooms
Living at La Prora
Long and turquoise, it runs between old stone walls and arches, with loungers in the shade of the palms and the sea glimpsed through the trees.
Under the woven reeds stands the long breakfast table and, further along, day beds with pink cushions and wicker lamps for the evening.
White vaults, a ceiling fan and doors open to the terrace; next door, a small library with lilac armchairs for the hottest afternoons.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 14:00 to 21:00, check-out from 7:30 to 11:00. If you arrive early or leave late, we are happy to keep your luggage; meanwhile there is the pool, or a coffee under the pergola.
Is breakfast included in the rate?
Always. We serve it at the long table under the pergola: granita and brioche in summer, fresh ricotta, seasonal fruit, homemade cakes and coffee made to order.
Do I need a car? Where can I park?
You don’t need one: the sea is an eight-minute walk away and the centre of Taormina is a short cable-car ride up. If you do drive, the house has free private parking.
Can I bring my pet?
Small pets are welcome on request. Write to us before booking: we will set up the room with a bowl and a cushion, and the garden is there for the morning walk.
Do you arrange airport transfers?
Yes, on request. Catania Fontanarossa airport is about fifty minutes away by car. A driver meets you in arrivals; just send us your flight details.
